KING CITY, Calif. — October 27, 2026. Job seekers in southern Monterey County will have an opportunity to meet local employers at a Monterey County Works Job Fair on Wednesday, November 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. The venue is the King City Library, 402 Broadway Street, King City, CA 93930.

The hiring event is organized by Monterey County Works, an initiative of the Monterey County Workforce Development Board. Residents looking for work, exploring different industries or preparing for a career change can register through the organizer’s official November 4 job fair page.

What job seekers can expect

The event is designed to let applicants speak directly with hiring representatives, learn about available or upcoming positions and ask questions about job qualifications. Monterey County Works also provides career services that can include résumé preparation, interview practice, job-search strategies and training referrals.

The organizer has not published a confirmed final employer list on the event page as of this report. Attending does not guarantee an interview, a job offer or eligibility for every listed vacancy. Participants should verify whether job-seeker registration is required and bring their résumé or other relevant work materials.

Information for employers

The organizer states that employer participation is free but advance employer registration is required. Its public event calendar says capacity is limited to nine employers; contact the organizer to check whether spaces remain. Employers should bring details of positions they intend to fill and any application requirements.

Why a King City event matters

Job and training events are often concentrated in Salinas or on the Monterey Peninsula. A King City venue gives South County residents another local opportunity to learn about openings without assuming they can travel to a larger city.
